Bringing the deliciousness of cruising home to you
Let’s face it, whether you consider yourself to be a “foodie” or not, one of the best parts about traveling is the food! And whether it’s the seemingly endless buffet on your cruise or the amazing pastries that come out of the bakery you found in Italy, what you eat is a vital part of your travel experience. Not to mention, food is what brings people together, whether that be in your grandma’s kitchen on Sunday evening or in the main dining room each night aboard your Caribbean cruise.
And that is why I decided while we are all stuck at home, barely allowed to do something as wild and crazy as dine at a restaurant, that we shall begin bringing the flavors of our favorite vacations home to our own kitchens. That’s right, it’s time to put on that apron and bust out the mixing bowl! We’re baking boys and girls!
Anyone who has ever cruised with Carnival Cruise Line, starts salivating whenever the words “CHOCOLATE MELTING CAKE” are mentioned. It’s that little pot of heaven that no matter how full you are, you’re going to order it! And while we continue to find ourselves in this time of staying put, we might as well be eating good. So, put on a fresh pot of coffee and get baking, because I’ve got the recipe right here!

When times are tough and life just isn’t going like it’s supposed to be, sometimes you just have to pick your head up and eat like you’re on vacation!
